Käthe

Käthe roasts its own beans in Oldenburg, one of the first specialty roasters in the city and still one of a small handful. Almost every coffee on the shelf is open to taste. Espresso comes off the La Marzocco, with batch brew and hand filter alongside. Whatever lands in the cup can go home by the bag. The crew is glad to walk you through the range. The back of the café doubles as a shop for mid-century Danish lamps and furniture, and the room stays cozy even at rush hour. Dogs are welcome.
